Oxford Kids was established in 2006 in East of Kailash, New Delhi, with a vision to create nurturing early learning environments that support children’s overall development during their most formative years.
Over time, Oxford Kids has grown thoughtfully, expanding its presence while remaining rooted in its founding values. In 2021, Oxford Kids Sector 56, Gurugram was launched, bringing the school’s child-centred approach to a new community. In 2026, Oxford Kids International, Sector 65, Gurugram will further extend this journey, offering International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC)

We focus on supporting the whole child through play-based learning that nurtures curiosity, communication, independence, and emotional well-being. Supported by caring educators and strong leadership, we aim to lay meaningful foundations that help children develop a positive relationship with learning and with the world around them.
Gopal Sharma
Founder
Oxford Kids was founded under the visionary leadership of Mr. Gopal Sharma, an educationist with over three decades of experience in the field of education. His belief in strong early foundations and value-driven education led to the creation of Oxford Kids as a dedicated early childhood institution.
Under his guidance, the Oxford Group of Schools also includes Oxford Public School, a well-established secondary institution. His leadership continues to guide Oxford Kids in blending traditional values with modern educational practices.
Upasana Sharma
Centre Head
Upasana transitioned into early childhood education after a successful career in journalism with the India Today Group. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education, Montessori training, and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education from the UK. Passionate about nurturing confident, independent learners, she believes in empowering children to explore, grow, and bloom in a caring environment.

Hema Giri

Hema brings over two decades of experience in early and primary education and has been part of the Oxford Kids journey for 18 years. She has led lower primary programmes and curriculum development with a strong focus on holistic child growth. Known for her empathetic and structured approach, she creates learning environments where children feel confident, supported, and inspired.

Sona Peyvand
Centre Head
Sona brings over 15 years of experience in education, with a strong focus on early childhood development. Her journey spans classroom teaching, academic mentoring, and parent partnership, guided by her belief in the importance of the early years. Trained in child psychology, wellbeing, and play-based learning, she is dedicated to creating inclusive, nurturing spaces where every child feels safe, valued, and confident to learn.
Kavita
Head of Admissions
Kavita began her career as a Mathematics teacher before discovering her passion for early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education, a Diploma in Business Management, and is a certified Soft Skills Trainer. With teaching and administrative experience in reputed schools in Mumbai and Delhi, she joined Oxford Kids in 2024 and is committed to creating a nurturing, joyful, and child-centric learning environment.
Oxford Kids is committed to maintaining high standards in early childhood education. Two of our centres follow the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), an internationally recognised framework that supports learning through purposeful play and inquiry.
