OXFORD KIDS

Programmes

At Oxford Kids, our programmes are thoughtfully designed to support children at every stage of early childhood. From first shared learning experiences to readiness for primary school, each programme supports children’s  emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development

Our Early Childhood Education programme supports children from Pre-Toddler through Senior Kindergarten, offering a carefully planned progression that nurtures curiosity, confidence, independence, and school readiness. Learning is play-based, inquiry-led, and responsive to each child’s developmental stage.

Play Group (18 months – 2 years):

This stage supports children as they begin to explore the world more independently. Through guided play, sensory experiences, music, movement, and predictable routines, children develop early communication skills, social awareness, and a sense of security within a small group setting.

Pre-Nursery (2 – 3 years):

Children learn within a nurturing and structured environment that encourages exploration and self-expression. The focus is on language development, physical coordination, social interaction, and growing independence, supported by familiar routines and responsive adult guidance.

 Nursery/Pre-K  (3 – 4 years):

At this stage, children build strong foundations in communication, early literacy, numeracy, and social development. Learning remains play-based and inquiry-led, with increasing structure to support confidence, independence, and emerging school readiness skills.

K1 / Junior Kindergarten (4 – 5 years):

This stage supports children in developing early academic understanding, problem-solving abilities, and self-expression. Through purposeful activities, collaborative learning, and structured routines, children grow as confident, engaged, and independent learners.

K2 / Senior Kindergarten (5 – 6 years):

Focused on readiness for primary school, this stage strengthens literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and classroom behaviours. Children develop independence, self-regulation, and learning habits that support a smooth transition into more formal learning environments.

Our Parent–Toddler programme offers a gentle introduction to early learning through shared parent–child experiences. Sessions focus on sensory play, movement, music, stories, and interaction, supporting emotional security, early exploration, and confidence-building in a warm and responsive environment.

Oxford Kids offers a calm, safe, and nurturing extended-day programme that supports children’s well-being and provides continuity of care for families.

Daycare is available for children from 10 months to 18 months as half-day or full-day care. For children 18 months onwards, after-school half-day care is offered. Familiar routines, play, rest, and age-appropriate engagement ensure children feel secure, comfortable, and supported throughout the day.

Our Enrichment Programme extends learning beyond the classroom, offering children opportunities to explore creativity, movement, music, and expression beyond the classroom.

Little Storytellers (Drama & Role Play):

Through storytelling, imaginative play, and drama, children develop language skills, empathy, confidence, and emotional expression in a supportive and engaging environment.

Rhythm & Movement (Dance & Creative Movement):

This programme supports physical development, balance, coordination, and body awareness through music and movement, encouraging children to express themselves freely and confidently.

Music in Motion (Music & Rhythm):

Children explore sound, rhythm, and melody through singing, instruments, and musical play, supporting listening skills, memory, coordination, and joyful self-expression.

Little Makers Studio (Art & Creative Exploration):

An open-ended art experience where children experiment with materials, textures, and techniques, fostering creativity, fine motor development, problem-solving, and independent thinking.

Summer & Winter Camps:

Our seasonal camps offer enriching holiday experiences through creative activities, movement, play, and themed explorations in a relaxed and engaging environment.

Oxford 360:

Oxford 360 is an evening programme open to the wider community, offering children opportunities to explore interests, develop skills, and engage socially through structured, age-appropriate activities.
